CHES Diesel and Marine Services is a privately owned company that was established in 1967 and has operated in the Fremantle, Western Australia area ever since. The Company was originally started as Cylinder Head Engineering Services and specialized only in Cylinder Head o/haul & repairs. The name CHES Engine Reconditioning was later added after a full machine workshop was established and then in the early 80’s CHES Diesel & Marine services was established.

Through the Companies high standard of workmanship CHES Diesel and Marine Services was appointed Parts & Service Dealers for MTU Marine Diesel Engines, Perkins Diesel Engines, Steyr Diesel Engines and ZF Marine Gearboxes. Besides our own Quality Policy we are Quality Certified by BUREAU VERITAS to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.

Paul Goodey the Managing Director maintains the highest priorities on Customer Service while the other two working Directors, Barry Fahey and Geoffrey Fahey, maintains Quality and Service the Customer expects.

Over the years, CHES Diesel and Marine Services have supplied technicians to many parts of the globe including Bali, Hong Kong, USA, Zanzibar and the Timor Sea. We also supply parts, service and maintain luxury yachts circling the world.
